John 3:16-21
“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son….” John 3:16, NIV
How great is the love God has bestowed upon His world by giving up His “one and only Son” to die for its redemption! Redemption simply means the buying back of what has been carted away. The Devil is the age long captor of the man God created in His own image. So, the blood of God’s only begotten Son is the only thing sufficient for man’s redemption (1 Corinthians 6:20). God does not want the man He created in His own image to be destroyed eternally so He provided a means for buying him back from the Devil who stole him from Him.
The precondition for this freedom from man’s captor, the Devil, is faith in the Son of God. How? You have faith in Him by confessing with your mouth the Lord Jesus Christ and believing in your heart that God raised Him from the dead (Romans 10:9). Then, you shall be saved and you are delivered from gross darkness of sin, hell fire, and eternal condemnation. If you are not saved yet, today is the day of your salvation; tomorrow may be too late!
Birthday Blessing: …Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red like crimson, they shall be as wool. Isaiah 1:18
