John 11:20-27
THE RESURRECTION AND THE LIFE

“Jesus said to her, I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live.”  John 11:25, NKJV
How hopelessly dejected do people become at the death of whoever or whatever is precious to them. Martha was also in similar depressed situation when her brother Lazarus died, it was already the fourth day and in their culture, it was not possible again for a dead person to come back to life. I once had the opportunity of seeing a dead body of four days and all my faith was sapped by the stench that was coming out of it, that day I appreciated better the power of God. God can still do it again if we believe.

Jesus assured Martha that He is the Resurrection and the Life (verses 25-26) and that all she needed was to believe in Him for her dead brother to live again. Though Martha believed but she was thinking it will take Jesus eternity but Jesus said, “I am right here to make him live now.” Beloved, no matter your situation, the Resurrection and the Life will step in right now and turn your story around today, in Jesus’ name. Jesus is your life that you live now and your hope that you will live eternally after death. All you need to do is to say like Martha in v. 27, “Yes Lord, I believe that You are the Christ, the Son of God.” Have a blessed and lovely day.

• Birthday Blessing: There shall not any man be able to stand before thee all the days of your life…. Joshua 1:5
